Glamourous Ramya Krishna is back to Suntv. But not in Thangai Vettai but as actress in her new serial “Kalasam”. The serial also has Sudha Chandran. Kalasam, the teleserial telecast on SunTV in which she leads the cast and handles the creative side of the production, has touched the 150-episode mark.
The serial, directed by Abdullah is produced by Keerthana and Ramya’s sister Vinaya Krishnan.We hear that Kalasam’s Telugu version will also be soon aired. “My role in the serial has shades of Neelambari in Padayappa,” says the actress, “The protagonist is separated from her daughter at birth. How they reunite and take revenge on the business tycoon (played by Sudha Chandran) is the story.”
